Health workers in Cebu City are overburdened by the rising number of COVID 19 cases in the area, and Vice President Robredo is helping take care of them.
In a Facebook post, Robredo said she has opened a dorm for the frontline workers in Cebu City, near the North General Hospital.
Her batchmate at the University of the Philippines helped make this possible, she said.
She said the dorm is open to health workers, medical practitioners, and other frontliners involved in offering essential services amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Beds will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Those who want to stay in the dorm can just send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org or send a message to Andrea at 0998 591 7408.
They would have to provide their name, gender, contact number, email address, home address, emergency contact, civil status, designation and hospital or organization where they are working, and shift schedule.
The dorm could be their temporary home away from home!
“Dorm 1 in Cebu is ready to take in frontliners. It is located in Brgy. Banilad, Cebu City, and is near North General Hospital.
Thank you to my UP Econ batchmate, Mary Ann Marin Streeter for working with us to make this possible.
Our dorm is open for health workers, medical practitioners, and other frontliners involved in offering essential services amid the COVID-19 crisis.
Because of limited space in line with physical distancing and other safety measures, requests will be accommodated on a first come, first served basis.
For frontliners who wish to avail of this service, kindly send the following details to email@example.com or to 0998 591 7408 (Andrea):
* Full name
* Contact number
* Email address
* Current home address
* Emergency contact (name, contact details, and relationship to the applicant)
* Civil status
* Designation and hospital / organization where the applicant is working
* Schedule of shift
Stay tuned for more updates on our official Facebook page and other social media platforms. Daghang salamat!” Robredo posted.
