Marinduque Vice Gov. Lyn Angeles is participating in a study mission on local governance at The Hague, and she gave thanks for this opportunity to expand her knowledge.
In a Facebook post, Angeles said governance is a serious task.
This is why she grabs every opportunity to gain new learnings, skills, and experiences to improve her capacity to serve better.
She said the study mission she is participating in will enrich her global perspective and understanding of areas that can help propel local economic development.
She will also get to learn from successful governance practices and build networks and potential collaboration or partnership opportunities.
Her experience will help her contribute importance policies and programs that will benefit the people of Marinduque, she added.
Her trip is going to be very good for the province!
“ANG PAMAMAHALA (Governance) AY ISANG SERYOSONG GAWAIN…
Kaya po, everytime na may opportunity to gain new/ additional learnings, skills & experiences na pwede makatulong sa akin to improve my capacity to serve better, ito po’y tinuturing kong malaking biyaya.
Salamat po Senator Francis Tolentino, Development Academy of the Philippines (DAP), at The Hague Academy for Local Governance (THALG). Tayo po ay kasama ngayon sa isang Foreign Study Mission dito sa The Netherlands, led by Sen. Tolentino kasama ang ilang piling local officials mula sa Pilipinas. Thanks also to Gov. Presby Velasco, Province of Marinduque for giving me authority to travel & be part of it.
This Study Mission aims to enrich our global perspective & understanding on areas that can help propel local economic development; learn from & directly observe successful governance approaches/practices of some identified institutions dito sa Netherlands; at maka-build din ng Networks & potential collaboration/partnership opportunities.
Mapagod po… pero ngayon pa lang, sigurado po ako na makakatulong ito ng malaki for me to contribute some imptant policies & programs sa lalawigan that hopefully mapakinabangan ng aming mga pinaglilingkuran. (Miserere Nobis),” Angeles posted.
