Camarines Rep. Arnie Fuentebella commended the courage of PSSg Noli Miraña of the San Jose Municipal Police Station whose hand was severed while trying to subdue a man running amok while armed with a bolo.
Reports said doctors from the Bicol Medical Center had successfully reattached the hand.
Fuentebella said Miraña’s brave actions to fulfill his mandate to keep the community safe is something to be proud of.
He said he truly admires Miraña’s courage.
He prays for his speedy recovery.
He also thanked the police personnel who accompanied Miraña in responding to the incident.
