Azanza meets with House leader, PCSO exec

Catanduanes Governor Patrick Azanza said provincial officials are strengthening coordination with national government partners to secure funding for priority development projects.

The governor shared that he recently concluded a meeting with House Deputy Majority Leader and TGP Party-list Rep. Jose “Bong” Teves Jr., as well as Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Board Director Imelda Papin,

The officials met to discuss funding opportunities and collaboration for initiatives that would benefit the island province.

“Just wrapped up our meeting with House of Representatives Deputy Majority Leader Brod Cong Bong Teves, and the PCSO Board Director Imelda Papin,” Azanza said in a statement.

According to the governor, he and Provincial Administrator Atty. Ramil Tamayo met with Teves to ensure that funding requests being pursued for Catanduanes projects are properly coordinated and aligned.

“Nagpasiguro kami ni Atty. Ramil Tamayo nin meeting ki TGP Partylist Congressman Bong Teves sa mga piga-lobby tang projects for funding para dae kita nin duplication or overlapping requests sa national level ngani mas dakul kitang mahagay na biyaya para sa Catanduanes,” Azanza said.

“In short, nagkasundo kami na magakumparahan nin mga listahan nin proyekto na papondohan buda naghuron man kung sain magakatarabangan para kung kaipuhan magsuportahan sa paghagay nin pondo, makapagtarabangan man, para sa karahayan kan Isla,” he added.
