People suffer when incompetent leaders are elected, says Councilor Kaila Yap

Odiongan Councilor Kaila Yap reminded voters that everybody suffers the consequences of putting incompetent people in power.

In a Facebook post, Yap said it’s the people who suffer when incompetent leaders are elected.

She said it’s not the leaders alone who face the consequences of their poor leadership.

These are paid for by the people they were elected to serve, she said.

She issued the reminder as she expressed her opposition to the proposal to postpone the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections.

“Who suffers when we elect incompetent leaders? The people. Because the consequences of poor leadership are never carried by leaders alone~~they are paid for by the people they were elected to serve,” she posted.
